Celebrate The 13th Annual Circle Boulder By Bicycle Event!

Wanna do something super-fun this weekend? This Sunday is the incredible B360. I first heard about this ride about 4 years ago, when we rode it as a family for the first time. It was so much fun that first year, (which was also the ride's 10th anniversary) that we made sure to attend in the following years. I'd put this on the list of events in town not to be missed!

The B360 comes in two versions, a 28 mile loop that covers most of the city, and the B180, a 16 mile loop featuring the condensed tour. Both are purely leisure rides - fun for everyone. You'll see all ages on all kinds of bikes and trikes and tag-a-longs. There are usually a few people who walk the route each year, too!

I'm bummed that I can't participate this year, due to having a brand new 4 week old baby. So, this year, for the first time since discovering the fantastic B360 ride, I'll be snuggling with my daughter while my boys and their dad go out riding around town with the crowd. Francesca and I will join in again next year.

So, the ride is FREE, and registration begins at 3:00 p.m. for the B360, and at 3:30 p.m. for the B180 on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Scott Carpenter Park on 30th St. and Arapahoe Ave.
See a map of both the B360 and B180 routes. The B360 is a 28-mile loop around almost all of Boulder and the B180 is a 16-mile route around some of Boulder. Check out an event flyer to learn more about this great community event.

They give out a free snack at the start, and in years past they gave a free bike bell or fun gadget, as well. Then there's a free party afterwards with refreshments and excellent prizes! You must be registered to be eligible for prizes, but I'll tell you you don't want to miss this part, which starts at 5:00 p.m. Have fun, and please ALWAYS wear a helmet!
FREE bicycle safety checks will be available for all participants.

HAVE FUN!
