We at metrosen have looked high and low so we could compile a simple list of New Year's Eve events - based on other lists and seeming popularity (via tweets). Mostly, we stuck to just Boulder events, though I had to mention Nissi's - one of my favs just outside of Boulder. Free transit service for New Year's Eve!
The City of Boulder, RTD and Special Transit are encouraging New Year's Eve revelers to take advantage of the following free transit services:
Free HOP bus service - 7 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31 until midnight Friday, Jan.1, 2010.
Free Black, Gold and Silver Late Night Transit Service - midnight until 3 a.m. on Friday, Jan.1, 2010.
Free RTD services, including bus and Light Rail service, access-a-Ride, skyRide and the SKIP, JUMP, BOUND, DASH, STAMPEDE and BOLT - after 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31 until 6 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 1, 2010.
All RTD services will operate on a regular weekday schedule on New Year's Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009 and on a Sunday/holiday schedule on New Year's Day, Friday, Jan. 1, 2010. The HOP will also run on a Sunday/holiday schedule on New Year's Day.
