Stuffing, Pie & Savory Spice
Thanksgiving is upon us! It crept up so quickly that many of us haven't even bought our first ingredient for the BIG FEAST. Panic! What am I going to make? Do I have the right spices? Who's going to arrive? Well, Savory Spice Shop can help you with one of those concerns. I already knew that the herbs and spices are incredibly fresh, but I was pleasantly surprised to also see that they have pre-made blends. These are a couple of particular interest this time of the year: Sage & Savory Stuffing Seasoning (Salt-Free) and Pumpkin Pie Spice. Read more below the video to get the details on these excellent blends.
Sage & Savory Stuffing Seasoning (Salt-Free)

Once you’ve tried this blend in your Thanksgiving stuffing you’re going to want to keep it as your own little secret. This is the perfect combination of rubbed sage, onion, garlic, rosemary, black pepper, ginger, Mediterranean thyme, parsley, marjoram, red bell peppers, ground coriander, allspice, oregano and savory.
This blend contains rubbed sage, onion, garlic, rosemary, black pepper, ginger, Mediterranean thyme, parsley, marjoram, red bell peppers, ground coriander, allspice, oregano and savory.
Use a 1/2 to 1 tsp. per cup of stuffing to transform ordinary stuffing into a masterpiece. Sage & Savory Stuffing Seasoning is great added to cream based soups. Try as a nice salt-free rub for pork, poultry or lamb. Also try tossing red skinned potatoes in olive oil, dust them with Sage & Savory and roast. We've found that this blend is wonderful in soups, especially one our manager created called Sage & Savory Sweet Potato Bisque.
Pumpkin Pie Spice

If you have a baker in the family, he or she should not be left without this versatile baking blend. We combine only the best ingredients starting with two kinds of cinnamon and adding ginger, nutmeg, mace, allspice and cloves. Use about 3 tsp. per 9 inch pumpkin pie for incredible results.
This blend contains Saigon cinnamon, Indonesian cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, mace, allspice and cloves.
There is no need to limit this blend to pumpkin pies exclusively. Try using it in zucchini bread, carrot cake or raisin muffins. Sprinkle it on your French toast, in your pancake batter or even in your coffee grounds before brewing. Whatever you use it on we are confident it will yield exquisite results.
