Friends' Articles On Why To Buy Local

UPDATED! (More information has been added courtesy of the City of Boulder)

This post is intended to simply post some articles written by other great organizations on the topic of why we should support local. Very soon, we'll have our points on the matter and will also include bulleted points to be seen around the www.metroseen.com site.

How Sweet (and Savory) It Is!

When our good friend told us about this great spice shop over a year ago located in downtown Boulder, we had to see the Savory Spice Shop. At the time, I was excited to see that a local store would allow me to buy quantities as small as 1/2 an ounce and that everything was fresh - not sitting in a McCormick's spice jar for months... to years, that they carried organic items and that the employees were very helpful and friendly. Metroseen wasn't even conceived at the time.

Loving The Clutter In Boulder

This is a long overdue entry about a wonderful shop in Boulder called Clutter! (see the metroseen local video story about Clutter here)

For the hearing impaired or even for those who just simply enjoy reading, below is the transcription of the Sports Garage video shot in Boulder, CO. How many city guides offer you that?

Another Reason to Love Boulder

Boulder, CO is already on the map for many reasons, but soon with metroseen, Boulder is going to be hoppin'! We are working hard on our second and third videos now (see the metroseen video page here), which we hope to have on the site ASAP. We have so many exciting ideas, and we love the experience we're having so far with this.

Sports Garage Shoot

Well, I wrote about our first video shoot being at Spruce Confections, and about how we were working on the edit for that one. As it happens, there was a small glitch in the audio on the piece, which will delay the release. We’ll get that one on metroseen.com soon though, I promise!

Our First Video Shoot!

Woo hoo! We've finished filming our first video. The first business we filmed was Spruce Confections on West Pearl Street. We were there on April 21st with our fantastic videographer, Jayne Romyn.
